The Phi4tech\u2019s Master\u2019s Degree in Battery Design and Manufacture is a pioneering training program promoted by the Phi4tech Group and developed by the University of Extremadura, with the aim of providing rigorous training in device design and manufacture at the highest level. On this date the lectures have begun with Module 1 on Chemistry and Nanomaterials.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\n Twice the number of applications received than available places <\/h2>\n \n

In this first edition, the Master\u2019s received 35 applications for the 15 available places. These requests come mostly from graduates of the University of Extremadura, but the program will also welcome students from University of Seville, Salamanca, Ja\u00e9n, UCJC, and URJC. Being a face-to-face Master may have conditioned the registration of people from other areas of Spain.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\n International interest <\/h2>\n \n
\n

Students from Argentina, the United Kingdom and Germany have also shown their interest in participating in this pioneering training program; a fact that will be taken into consideration for the next editions of the Master.<\/p>\n

After a rigorous selection process, the 15 students make up a group with an ideal profile to achieve the Master\u2019s objectives. The students come mainly from the industrial engineering field (mechanical, electrical, electronic, automation, and chemical engineering), and fields such as chemistry, physics or industrial design: an ideal starting point to develop the student\u2019s skills and achieve the knowledge defined in the different modules of the Master.<\/p>\n

The training program comprises 600 hours (60 credits) of teaching, theory and practice, from October 4, 2021 to June 30, 2022. It is an eminently face-to-face Master that will be taught at the facilities of the School of Industrial Engineering of the UEx in Badajoz.
