Our industrial “climb” surpasses Everest: We have reached 10 km of manufactured electrode

18.11.2025

We are proud to announce a key milestone at our pilot plant: we have exceeded 10 kilometers of cumulative calendered electrode.

To put this into perspective, this length of electrode, deployed vertically, would exceed the height of Mount Everest (8,848 meters).

This breakthrough is based on our know-how, the use of our carbon nanofibers (specifically designed for this application and enabling an ECO process), and the application of advanced data analytics and modeling to control critical process variables.

Thanks to this approach:

  • We have reduced variability between batches.
  • We have improved material uniformity.
  • We have consolidated reproducible manufacturing, allowing us to increase device volume while maintaining the same quality.

This robustness in the process is what allows us to present the evolution of our ECO supercapacitor, a cylindrical device in 60130 format that reaches 3,100 F and an ESR of 0.29 mΩ in our internal tests.

Our next steps are focused on finalizing the product specifications for its competitive entry into the market, conducting tests with real loads alongside integrators and end users, and defining the operating conditions and limits for each application.

Driven by this achievement, we are taking a decisive step forward in responding to the big challenges of electrification and energy transition with our own scalable technology.
